Vale Show dog contest 'always a crowd pleaser'

By Contributed Item in Events

The Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural show is almost here once again.

Dog exhibitors look forward to this prestigious show every year because it is something special in the annual calendar.

It is held at a superb venue, has respected judges both from the UK and overseas and also hosts one of the qualifying heats for the ‘Junior Warrant of the Year’ competition on behalf of the Kennel Club.

In addition, the exhibitors have the added bonus of access to the remainder of the show with horticulture, crafts, a food hall, shopping mall, individual stalls and, of course, all sorts of livestock.

The show mirrors life in the rural community and is a great day out for the family. Also, everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome.

The dog section this year again has a numerically large entry with the Best in Show judge making a special visit from Slovakia.

In addition, an eminent judge from the USA is officiating in the Working Group ring. When you visit, if you have any questions you would like answered please feel free to come and ask and we will do our best to resolve it for you.

The majority of pedigree breeds will be on display from chihuahuas to Irish Wolfhounds, so please come and visit us.
